We are a partnership between The University of New Mexico (UNM), New Mexico State University (NMSU), Central New Mexico Community College (CNM), City College, The City University of New York (CCNY-CUNY), Lehman College-CUNY and Hostos Community College-CUNY to catalyze enduring transformational equity. Our objectives are to:
- Re-envision data and equity metrics for generating policies for action and impact
- Convene communities of practice among faculty and other stakeholder communities
- Transform equity narratives in our strategic communications and publications
Office Hours
We are holding virtual drop-in office hours for anyone interested in advancing student success in stem. Everyone is welcome! Stem department instructors, chairs, program directors, advisors, etc.
No rsvp needed​. We look forward to sharing strategies for advancing student success through engaging intersectionality as inquiry & praxis:
- Revisiting equity metrics (race, gender, ethnicity, class) for distribution of resources
- Academic program review preparation
- Mentoring
- Pedagogy
- Community engagement, internships
- Postsecondary careers and alumni networks
- Other topics related to student success and impact are always welcome!
